There is a Townsend's Solitaire in the dunes near the Spring Mill Pond at Island Lake State Rec. It was feeding in Junipers near some Bluebirds and was also drinking water out of a gulley that has some open water. Coordinates are 42°29'41.3"N 83°42'29.5"W. The bird was mostly feeding along on the slope of the dunes at this location. The watering gulley is at this location as well, just to the west of the exact coordinates. It is very near a concrete pad. Also in the dunes is a Northern Shrike the Sean found on his walk out to the Solitaire. Sean and I later had a Red-shouldered Hawk flyover, and I had an immature White-crowned Sparrow hanging out with the other sparrows on the backside of the dunes.
If you go for the Townsend's and don't immediately get it, it is probably worth exploring the area more. The habitat is vast, and the Bluebird flocks tend to move around a lot. The Solitaire flew to the South a few times as well, where there are a lot of junipers as well.
