I saw my first Michigan Turkey Vulture of the year this afternoon, when I noticed a soaring bird over Brighton just after noon. Also there is a large (ca. 20 birds) flock of turkey turkeys (pavo, en espanol) in the large field at Silver Lake Rd and US-23.

Spring will get here eventually,
